NDP
Tomorrow will definately be a big day for most people. Polishing their badges and boots. Ironing uniforms and preparing for the big day.Only once a year, uniform groups all gather for one parade-NDP.
Enduring through many harsh trainings and bitterness, standing under the merci-less sun, beads of perspiration drip away from every corner of the body. Still the pride lies in everyone on the parade, and the honour on the GOH.
In sec 3, the parade was alrite, having NCC Mr. John Lim planning the parade was cool. After all he got what it takes to be a commisioned officer.
I remember when I was in sec 4- the very last NDP in my secondary school life, npcc was the organiser of the parade. Naturally, that makes us extremely proud. However, the pride does not lie within NPCC! The prides lies with me and my friends. All of them snatched the top posts in their respective CCAs. Choon Kiat became the CMS of SAJB, and CC of SAJB during NDP. CheeKong became the CC of BB duing NDP too.
Well, Gare Rern and me, in the GOH lorh.
The night before the big day, CheeKong, Choon Kiat and me gathered at GareRern and Vye Rern's house! - to polish boots! polish for 4 and a half hours ok! damn zai!
all polish until super shiny! cos we burn and polish, burn and polish!
We even bought potato chips to go around, and no one could forget the 'take one and pass around' joke. hehe.
In the end, I reached home at 12+, did my uniform until super zai, and went off to slp at 2.30am. woke up at 4.30am and reached school at 5.35am as the few of as agreeed. and then it was the day. so ci ji.

oh well, back to 2007.
Have a chance to go for the NDP in KSS tomorrow. But i think i'll skip it and bury myself in lecture notes.

the real show's on 9 aug. what's there to see on 8 aug? going for 2nd round? forget it.
dont even know whether there's duty for the didi's and meimei's on 9 aug at yew tee.
if dont have means a tradition broken. and obviously someone broke that tradition.
